Dr Johann Thieme was born in Ireland and grew up in Zambia. He studied at Stonyhurst College in Lancashire and graduated from Guys Hospital in 1989. In 1994, he also obtained his diploma in Forensic Dentistry.
Johann has been in general practice since graduating and enjoys many dentistry aspects. His gentle nature and calming manner reassures even the most reluctant patients. Johann enjoys improving smiles and performs a variety of treatments in cosmetic dentistry. To keep up with modern techniques, Johann attends courses and has received a Certificate in Aesthetic Dentistry, the year-long Certificate for Restorative Dentistry, and a Certificate in Occlusion. Alongside courses, Johann attends quarterly lectures and subscribes to journals.
Johann is married to his wife Maria and has one daughter. He enjoys golf, squash, racket ball, badminton, swimming, jogging, and other outdoor sports.
