Dr Hennie van Jaarsveld qualified (with honours) as a Periodontics and Oral Medicine specialist at the University of Pretoria in June 1985. Since qualifying, Hennie has lectured at Pretoria University for 22 years and worked in private practice in Pretoria for 23 years. He has been an external examiner for pre and post graduate students at Wits University, Johannesburg and Pretoria Universities for five years.
Hennie has been involved in implantology since 1987 and has experience in the following systems: Southern, Branemark, Nobel Biocare, Ankylos, 3i, Innova, Strauman, Zimmer, and Sendax implants.
He is also a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and registered as a Specialist Periodontist with the General Dental Council in the UK.
Hennie works part-time at The Parade Dental Practice and fulfils the role of diagnosing and treating diseases related to the gums and the supporting tissue. With Hennie’s vast experience in placing dental implants, our patients are in the hands of an expert.
